My first year of blogging

Today I have a little jubilee. It's presicely one year since I first started blogging and wrote my first blog entry. I like blogging, and I pray that my readers get blessed by reading my blog texts.

This evening I have been visiting my good friends Hiwot and Naftalem that got married in June, and we had a lovely time together, sharing experiences and expressing love and care for each other. I thank God for good friends like them.

Tomorrow I'm going back to Tromsø, and I'm looking forward to that now...

Happy new year!

This is just a little greeting for all of you that are reading my blog. I want to wish all of you a very good, blessed and happy new year with lots of joy and excitement and many good experiences. Whoever you are, I want to tell you that God has a good plan for you. God is The God of Hope. He is love, and he is The Truth. Yes, the Bible tells us that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. God loved the world so much that he gave his only son, Jesus, to save us all. He gave him and let him die for us, so that we should be saved, receive forgiveness for our sins and have peace with God. God loves you incredibly high and wants to give you a very good life. If you surrender your life to Jesus, you can experience the great love and mercy of God and get to know God in a personal relationship. God is so good, and He has only good thoughts for you. He knows you and sees you in whatever situation you are in. When there's no one else who sees you, God sees you. When there's no one else who cares, God cares. He is always there. He is near to everyone, and he loves and cares for everyone. I know he has a good plan for each and everyone on this earth. But he doesn't force him self upon anyone. He wants us to decide to give our lives to him and live for him out of our free will. And I know from experience that the best and most important decicion you can take in your life is to give your life to Jesus and follow Him. "Jesus is the answer for the world today." That's the lyrics in a song, and I believe it's true. I myself have met Jesus personally and received him into my life. And I've experienced many times that Jesus is my best friend, my best comforter, my best strength, my best helper, my best supporter, my only really hope, my life and my joy. He is my love, and I want more and more people to meet Jesus and experience his love, just like I have. Like I've mentioned before on my blog: Jesus is my life. He is my hope. He is my joy. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! I will continue to live for Jesus every day of this new year, 2005. May the Lord bless all of you and give you a very good year! Love and best wishes from Ruth Kristin
